Tanika is an amazing stylist! My hair is always cute and I get so many compliments whenever she does my hair. She won’t have you in the chair all day, isn’t heavy handed, and the styles last with no pain or pulled edges. Also, she is one of the sweetest persons ever! I definitely recommend you book with her!!

Tanika is THE BEST!! I have been going to her for three years now and whether she’s doing a full weave, partial weave, or clip-ins - her work is always nothing less than perfection!! Honestly - she’s so professional and takes such pride in her work and in making you feel so brand new. The struggle is real to find a legit and professional stylist in LA but trust Tanika, she’ll get you right!! I love my hair every time as does everyone who sees me so I’ve found my go-to as long as I’m here in LA!

I booked for a silk press about a week prior to my appointment. However, I don’t believe she keeps her StyleSeat calendar schedule updated, so thankfully I called the day before to confirm.
My original appointment was booked at 11am. I was asked to move it to 3:30pm and agreed. Day of, I arrive on time. But wasn’t seen until 4:10. She did press my hair silky straight. My entire service, from the time I sat in the chair, took 3 hours… I just don’t have the extended time for this service.

If I could give more stars I would. My hair looks so natural and my inches hit my butt. Customer service was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Taneka has impeccable skill and speed to go along with that. Conversation was top notch and I left feeling like it was money well spent. I will forever visit this black owned business for all my style needs and wants.

Tanika has been my stylist for years, and is the only one I trust with my extensions (beaded sew-in). She is very detailed and dedicated to her work and clients. She spent hours untangling a massive knot one time when other stylists would’ve just chopped it off !!!
Tanika is always very professional with her scheduling, on time, and efficient during the appointment. I’m in and out very fast, Parking is easy, and she has a private salon. She has hair on site too. Thanks Tanika!!!!

I love the fact that I never have to wait when I book an appointment with her...when it's my appointment time, I'm in her chair and her focus is strictly on getting my hair together! My sew ins are so natural looking that most have no clue that I'm wearing extensions. Definitely feel like I found a gem in finding Tanika!
