Appt was initially for a wash/tx/trim/blowout style, but a few days prior, we agreed to add braids instead of the b/out. Appt was confirmed then & the night b4. Morning of, she text she couldn’t do singles due to a sched conflict & not having the hair. I let her know that I had hair for twists, but she said no, noting a time crunch. Appt felt rushed, so I settled for wash/blowdry/trim. I was annoyed bcuz I traveled long distance w/no backup plan. I wish it was a no to singles from jump.

Type 4c tight curly medium/high density. I only use heat every 4-6 months to trim hair. Silk press with cut and moisture treatment. Very efficient.

Shawna did such a great job with my medium box braids! Had the wash, blow dry and hair Included, which was very convenient for me. Gave me exactly the style and size I wanted.

Shawna is an absolute gem! Her professionalism and skill is unmatched. I’ve had unfortunate experiences with stylists in the past where they didn’t show up to our scheduled appointment or communicated poorly. With that said, Shawna is the complete opposite! We confirmed the style I wanted before she started and it held up beautifully for a while. I receive so many compliments on my hair - I’m in love with Shawna’s work. I can’t wait to go back!

She canceled my appointment because I was a Male and she’s not accepting any “new male clients” so if you are a man trying to get your hair done don’t book here lol

First time going to Ms Shawna. :) Received a shampoo, conditioning and blow dry/blowout. She did an amazing job. My hair was seriously dirty lol and she got my hair and scalp squeaky clean. My natural hair and scalp feels fresh, clean and amazing. She even gave me some tips on keeping my scalp clean. She also has a very relaxing, & chill environment. Definitely will be back! Book with her!!! Lol :)

I had been looking for a place in the valley forever to get my hair done and Ms. Shawna is a blessing! I felt so relaxed and her setup was so nostalgic it made me think of home. I'm 100% coming back for her services. She's great!

Me Shawna did a phenomenal job on my blowout. I have thick 4c hair that can be tough to detangle and manage but if wasn’t an issue for her. Originally I booked a protein treatment but after sharing my hair issue Ms Shawna recommended a anti shedding mask. My hair turn out healthy and shiny. I also loved her blow out method because it didn’t damage my curls.
