Joanna rocked my haircut! I just moved into downtown San Diego and need to find a Barber. It was fate that sat me in her chair. She asked a few questions and went for it. I'm so happy I found this place!!

My boyfriend just moved in with me and needed a new barber. Found this place that is very close by and it's our barber of choice now! Very quick, affordable and Maria did an outstanding job! Highly recommended! :)

I've been coming here since they opened! Same young lady has been cutting my since I remember! I love all the people here and I only trust this place with my hair! And they have AC and cable and good "chisme" lol great service and never have they messed up my ugly hair!

So, I grew a beard. My mom thinks it's pretty cool, I feel like I'm now able to chop down a tree or fix a broken down motorcycle with ease and above all else, my Tinder game has increased 10 fold. Okay, all jokes aside, I need to groom this shaggy pup from time to time.
Do you want to freak out a little bit? Do a Yelp search for "beard trim" and see how many options there are. The results that you'll find are lots and lots of places that are fully booked on Saturday and Sunday charging $35.00 to give your face a little trim. After calling my third or fourth place looking for an opening, I found myself frustrated and turned to Kiko's. No appointment needed and an extremely quick walk from my house. Fingers and toes crossed I hoped for the best!
The language barrier is more than apparent and not a word was exchanged throughout the speedy 15 minute groom. No worries, I could tell I was in the hand of a professional here. My head was shaved, clippers hit the beard and scissors added the final touches. $12.00 dollars later I was all cleaned up and ready to meet a right swipe at Buffalo Wild Wings for some artichoke dip and Coors Light.

I will start off by saying I'm an out-of-towner. I travel often for work and get my hair cut all over the country. I was initially apprehensive of getting my cut here. Hind sight, I'd go back for a second cut.
