Shauneil was absolutely amazing, had a bad experience at a different salon she took her time to analyze my scalp in case there was any damage thank goodness I didn’t. She went through the whole process with me was patient and kind. The braids and the sew in was amazing. Left the salon looking beautiful and I loved it and got compliments about my new look. Definitely will come back for future services. Thanks again 🫶🏻

I made an appointment via text a few weeks ago for today at 9am. I arrived at 8:55am. I was never told the name of my stylist via text so I didn't have it to give when I was asked who I was waiting for. Was told to sit and wait. Left at 9:15 with no updates or communication on where my stylist was or what was happening. Super disappointed-Waste of time.

I came today for my waxing appointment. The very kind lady I spoke to to set up the appointment was late for my waxing appointment. When she came 12 mins later I was getting very frustrated my skin gets very irritated Easily, when I spoke to the kind lady whose name I do not know I told her that. I lost my home due to the fires and am graduating with my masters in 2 weeks and Needed this wax for my pool party at my apartment. When I got this wax my skin was irritated and red and burned for a few hours. I just tried on my swim suit and realized I will not be ready for my part because I have Rex blocky bumpy skin. I wish my waxing was done better so my skin wouldn't be affected. I wish u all a great day and taht u guys have a better appointment than me

I love Aster! She has cut and styled my hair (flat iron/press and curl), braided my hair several times and done an extension pony tail. My hair always looks GORGEOUS and people comment! She is adorable and always knows what I want. I love Isis salon in general the vibe is great and I always feel relaxed. Everyone is friendly and nice.

I received a cut and color from Joe (styled_by_knight) at Isis Hair Salon. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so kind and welcoming. Joe went out of his way to make sure I was happy with my hair at every step. He bleached my roots and took extra time with the toners to achieve the exact look I asked for, and went above and beyond in ensuring I was comfortable throughout the bleaching process. I left feeling like a rockstar and recommend Joe and the salon to anyone in the LA area!

Less than ideal experience with two hair stylists. Went to this salon for someone who could do a variety of natural hair styles on 4C hair and was connected to Dee and Aster.
Had three appointments with Dee, the last two of which were extremely unprofessional when he raised his voice, talked to me in a very patronizing manner, and overall had a bad attitude about the styles I had chosen even though he had previously agreed to do them via text. Left after the third appointment with an expensive and poorly done ponytail look (with hair he had gotten that didn't match my hair color), despite him saying he could do the look when sent a reference picture. I did not feel comfortable with his tone, manners, or professionalism and would not recommend.
I gave the salon another chance when I went to Aster for several appointments with great success. That was before she did a terrible weave on me despite saying she could do weaves. She was unresponsive via phone when I had questions about what kind of hair to get, did not bleach the knots of the weave, set the part too far back so my edges were *clearly* visible, and overall did a poor job to the point where I did not feel comfortable stepping outside with it on. After I contacted the owner of the salon (who was very helpful), I received a restyle appointment. However, Aster became very unprofessional when challenged about the style, screamed at me via phone, and sent very disrespectful texts.
I do not think these two stylists are indicative of the salon as a whole. I'm sure this salon has great and respectful hair stylists, but that has not been my experience.

Finally found a lady that cut my hair to perfection! And at a reasonable price.
Her name is Eva and my hair is short and natural.
I had a picture of myself from a year ago and she did the thing.
Moving from another state and on the search for a decent salon, price and connection with the person holding scissors is priceless.
Plenty of free parking behind the building just off La Cienega and Obama. Cool beans
