Found Harbor Thai while visiting San Diego. My husband and I specifically enjoy Thai massages for the stretches, and it reminds us of fond memories from our recent trip to Thailand.
We arrived late to our appointment as we struggled looking for parking in the area. Ace parking ($2/hr) was where we ultimately ended up. The receptionist kindly welcomed us and gave us no trouble with our tardiness. We were shown into a double room with 2 heated massage tables. There was peaceful music with no outside distractions whatsoever. We both got the combination Thai + Swedish massage, which includes traditional Thai stretches where the masseuse manipulates your body into yoga-like poses and then applies pressure with their hands, forearms, elbows, or even their feet and Swedish kneading of muscles.
Honestly, one of the best massages I have ever had. It's up there with what we got in Thailand. These ladies (shout-out to Maya) are from Thailand and have been practicing for decades! She helped loosen up my husband's extra tight calves and shoulders. My masseuse (didn't catch her name) went in hard on my knots in my neck and shoulders. They were both responsive to requests (softer/harder) and have a really great understanding of how far to stretch you and what areas to focus on. Maya clearly knows her muscle groups and my husband came out of his hour session as a new man.
We paid $160 for 2 people and 1 hours. It was well worth every dime! Harbor Thai would take all our money if we actually lived in San Diego, but trust we'll be back when we visit SD again.

Fantastic. I needed some work and Meia (sp?) went to the limits for me. Can’t even begin to say how much better I feel. Wish I was in the city longer so I could book another appointment.

I do Thai massage regularly but as I was traveling I had to find a new spot for some sciatica pain that was acting up. Definitely one of the best massages I ever had. The therapist Meia had me like a pretzel. I will be back.

Awesome service. Very welcoming staff. I've been here 3 times and I plan on going back. They're a little on the expensive side but totally worth it. Their rooms are nice and comfortable and you can tell they're clean. I'd go back daily if I could. I definitely recommend Thai combination. It's amazing.

Took my fiancee here for the first time and she was blown away with how wonderful the massage was! They were extremely thorough, kind, and went out of their way at to make her feel comfortable.

I recently returned from Thailand, and was craving a thai massage and boy did this place not disappoint. If you are looking for your traditional american style massage place the atmosphere will not match that. It is very simple quiet minimalistic but There is a beautiful water fountain in the entrance. As far as the massage goes wow! It was perfect all the pressure with some stretching walking on my back loosening up all the tightness. One of my favorite things about massages is loosening up my sore muscles from the gym. But for some reason no one will touch your glutes. That is not the case here. My masseuse three an elbow into that muscle and broke up all that lactic acid and tightness. HIGHLY recommend. The front desk person was so friendly and he was so helpful. Will absolutely be back.

Oh my goodness, I did not know I needed this massage. I read one of the reviews and it brought me here. I went with Thai combo. I told her I was 6 months postpartum via c-section and she helped relieve a lot of stress on my stomach, hips and back. She knew exactly what to do. I'm glad I went with the combo, it was perfect. The way she stretched me and popped my back was a wrap. I melted. The amount of pressure was insane coming from those hands. I would recommend and would come back.
(only complaint is parking)

Had a quick overnight in the neighborhood, so I decided to get a massage. My body definitely needed it. I stopped in to Harbor Thai. Jenny was my therapist. I've had many "Thai massages" before, and being part Thai, I've experienced the Thailand version as well. Jenny did not disappoint! I didn't request any specific area to be worked on, but with Jenny's magic hands, feet, and elbows, she was able to find all of the troubled spots. Jenny was able to release so many stubborn knots and made me feel so loose with all the deep stretches. I'm so happy to know that she didn't hold back, I'm usually a deep tissue massage person, but most can't get that touch properly. Jenny did great! The crew here were so friendly and welcoming, you guys gotta check them out!!

Friendly staff. I was a little bit late and they were totally fine moving my appointment back a few minutes. They got started right away. I booked a 90 minute deep tissue massage and they ended up going for 2 hours! And it was only $100. It said $115 on the website for 90 minutes so I'm not sure why it was only 100 but I was happy. That's a great price! My masseuse spent the perfect amount of time on every area. I told her to focus a little bit more on my back and shoulders and she did. This was a full body massage on her part as well! She walked on my back, and used her hands, feet, elbows, and knees to get the right amount of pressure for each area. She did some unique techniques that felt really good and even stretched me out a bit. It's a little bit of an older building and there's not a ton of decoration, but it still felt clean and inviting. She played soft music during the massage and it was very relaxing. My only critique is that it was a little cold for me. The room was too cold and they didn't heat the massage oil. It was room temperature but warmed up with body heat. If you run warm, the room would probably be the perfect temperature for you.
