Amazing experience and very peaceful ambiance. Booked an appointment for my mom for a curly haircut and she was very happy with the results. They were very nice and welcoming for our first time there. Definitely would return :)

I had a great experience with Nancy and Abby tonight! This was my first time at Art Room Nancy totally understood the color I was going for and even had examples to show me to confirm we were on the same page. She was detail-oriented and I look forward to visiting again when I need a fresh cut. Abby was very kind and I'm very happy with my results.

I had a wonderful experience at Art Room. It was my first time here, and I called ahead to ensure that I would have a private area to cut my hair and a female hair stylist (I wear hijab). They were very nice and accommodating, so I felt at ease. I asked for long, face framing layers, and Laura delivered! I will absolutely be back when I need a trim or cut.

I’ve gone to Art Room Hair Spa a few times and everyone is always so nice and welcoming. Today was my first time seeing Sandra and it was no different. Her and her team are the absolute sweetest! My color was washed out and my hair was so dry and damaged. I came out with the shiniest, most beautiful red; I’m in love! I appreciate Sandra going over the color and hair cut with me and actually listening to what I wanted. The shampooing was amazing! Amy gave me the best scalp massage and wash. The whole team is always checking in on you and they also offer so many beverages. Already looking forward to next time. Thank you Sandra and team!

Nancy did such an amazing job on my hair! I have very long, heavy and thick wavy hair and asked her to add tons of bouncy layers to give it more shape, and to help me style it easier so it doesn’t fall so heavy in my face. She did such a beautiful job! All of the ladies working were wonderful, added bonus was the scalp massage after getting my hair washed and the amazing blowout. Salon was extremely clean and relaxing. It’s so nerve wracking trying out a new hair salon, but I found my new spot! Thanks so much Nancy! (Didn’t get the receptionists name but she was amazing as well and gave me a great wash!)

I had my haircut done at Art Room Hair Spa in Queens, and Sandra was my stylist. She did an absolutely amazing job! Sandra was incredibly patient, listened carefully to what I wanted, and delivered beyond my expectations. As a bonus for my first visit, she treated me to a free blowout, which was such a lovely gesture. I couldn’t be happier with the experience and highly recommend Sandra. Special thanks to Abby for being so kind and amazing shampoo. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying out new hairstyles with them. 😊

Update:
Initially left the salon with pink and green streaks in my hair a month before my wedding, after requesting a light blonde balayage. Apparently the color came out too white and my stylist tried to correct it with toner that made my hair pink. I was definitely very upset. After speaking with the salon manager on the phone she kindly refunded me the entire price of the service and offered to fix my hair. I was very happy with the accountability and apology! I also came here in May for a blonde balayage and had a great experience, so I believe this was just a mistake. The conversation with Sandra left me feeling relieved and confident that they value their customers and their happiness.

Im so happy that Lorna came back to Art Room Hair Spa from her long vacation in Florida. I hope she will stay as she is one of the two best hair dressers i encountered all these 30 years in NY.
