A beautiful Black-owned salon in Bedstuy! It's beautiful inside and the staff is friendly. You'll be offered tea, coffee or water during your service which is nice.
I personally go to see Lilian who is a gem! I'm a loose natural and see her for trims, blowouts and silk presses. Since it's a full salon and not a private space, I love watching the other staff members service their clients. They have staff members that braid, install wigs and extensions, do waxes and even makeup artists. It's truly a one stop shop!

I went in this morning to inquire about a sew-in. The receptionist was really nice, and she answered all of my questions. I forgot her name, but she has colorful hair. Unfortunately, the conversation I heard from the other girls in the back sounded very anti LGBTQ. I don't think I would like to be serviced here. If I could I would give zero stars because of the homophobia, but I gave two stars because of how nice the receptionist was.

This stylist I went to for the first time (Laila) ruined every strand of hair on my head. The owner told me she could not afford to comp protective styles until the damage grew out, so I'm not sure how long they will be in business if they can't afford $1,000 to cover six months to a year of box braids for something that was entirely their fault. I came in with 100 percent natural hair and just wanted a simple blow out and flat iron press, but this stylist didn't know what temperature to use. Maybe she wants everyone to be bald like she is.
