Truly an amazing experience, complements of Bobby F. Watching Bobby masterfully time my hair color, (and my boxed color errors) cut, and another client's cut and color, was thrilling. I watched my color transform and saw the tips of previous dye turn into the perfect color. Absolutely what I had in mind and wanted. You want your color done by a master. And I found him! Many thanks Bobby!

I rarely leave reviews but had such a great experience with Bobby who was so patient with me and my stubborn hair, and so talented! He didn’t let me leave the salon until I had exactly what I wanted. And, he’s hilarious which is a plus!! Thank you Bobby! You da best :)

Came from out of town looking for a wash and blowdry. Bobby was amazing and has excellent products and skills. I felt right at home. My hair is so smooth and silky now! I will come back again next visit for sure! Go see him 🙌 …

Beware and please don't ho to this man. I paid for a weave install and cash paper him $100 and then on the day of my appointment he went MIA. I stood outside his salons for more then and hour leaving VM messages, text messages and even on IG and he never returned any of my calls or texts. This is was worst experience I have every had and very unprofessional. He still owes me $100 but I have no way to contact him. Such a disgrace do not waste your time and be fooled like I was. The salon he even gave me was under construction so nothing mad sense.

I have been going to Bobby for about 8 months now and am very impressed. I have extremely sensitive skin and needed to find a place that had not only organic but low chemical hair dyes. I was looking to try traditional dies without PPD ect as well as Henna hair dye.
I have had great luck working with bobby on my color and find him to be extremely kind and easy to talk to. He is super open to trying new products and helping me figure out what exactly is causing a reaction on my skin.
He is very conveniently located in the East Village and I always enjoy our conversations as well as the results of the process. I would highly recommend him not only for his personality but obviously also for his color!

Once again, Bobby saved the day. Last visit, my daughter had her hair cut to look like an anime character. Very cute, till someone told her she looked like she had payot. So he cut her hair, she still has the same look. And we both love it, again.
What I really can't get over is how nicely he treats my daughter. She has been to other places and been spoken down to, or ignored while they speak to me. It's so refreshing to have an adult address a child (and mother) both about what she's looking for in a haircut.

My daughter came with the request to have her hair cut like an anime character. Bobby took the time to consult with her, what about the hair style did she like, what didn't she like. I cannot believe how the haircut came out. She looks so cute and was thrilled with the results. I was blown away by how seriously he took her request. He didn't laugh at her. He took her seriously and the results were amazing.

I've been going to Bobby for over a decade now - started out wanting highlights using natural products that wouldn't fade after a few washes...and Bobby delivered with a smile! Since then I've stuck with him through several salons till he finally opened his own Organic Lounge 11 a few years ago. I've gone to Bobby for Realisse smoothing, haircuts, roots touch ups - and my hair is definitely healthier, shinier and more manageable than ever before! The icing on the cake is he's also a barrel of laughs and I genuinely look forward to hanging with him for a few hours every time I have an appointment!! If you want to stop using harsh chemicals in your hair and are sick of pretentious hair dressers who don't listen to what you want, go to Bobby - he's that breath of fresh air you so desperately need.

Bobby did an AMAZING job with my hair. It was such a great experience and I will definitely be back again. The products he uses are vegan, cruelty-free, organic, and free of harsh chemicals such as ammonia. I went from brunette to blonde in only 2 hours, and am so happy with the result. Bobby is so personable, funny, and genuinely cares about each of his clients. Thanks Bobby!

Booking with Bobby was easy and his schedule is very convenient/ flexible for my crazy work schedule.
The space is small but cozy, clean and has a Bobby flare to it.
I was welcomed with a tea and chocolate covered gingerbread cookie. During my consult, I was so tired after a long day that I wasn't very clear with how I wanted my color to be done. I basically had some blonde highlights hand painted/dark brown roots growing out. The contrast was becoming too noticeable and my blonde looked brassy. However, the resulting look was fabulous, harmonious and exactly what I wanted. He's obviously a mind reader.
I love that he tries to use organic and/or
least harmful methods of coloring hair. Plus, I believe I was the first client to get my hair washed with the pure alkaline water installed that day.
I would definitely go again! My hair looks and feels great.

I have been going to Bobby for 6 years! He is the best - always professional and eager to please his clients. Once I had my hair done at a "blow dry only" salon. I left crying bc my hair looked terrible and ran to Bobby's!! He quickly fixed my blowout and I have NEVER gone to anyone else but him since that happened. His cuts grow in really well and I always leave happy and feeling beautiful!

Bobby's been coloring and cutting my hair for at least 2 years. I'd never had it colored (coloring gray) before and hadn't had it professionally cut for many years. Bobby's care regarding the products he uses is what brought me to him and the high quality of his work is what has me stay.

I chose Bobby based on the all 5 star yelp reviews, but I had a different experience than other reviewers. I went in wanting to cut a significant amount hair and was looking for some input from Bobby about what would best flatter my face. He showed no desire to have a discussion about styling, just asked how much we were cutting and went to work. As he was was cutting I said all I care about is that it is not too big.
I understand he likes to cut hair when it is dry, but the cut was supposed to include styling and just blow drying is not an acceptable style for my curly hair. When I left the studio, my hair was a giant triangle. Bobby said he the cut was meant for curly styling, not straight as it was when I left the studio, but it is still a triangle when styled curly. I will definitely not go back.

Bobby has been cutting my hair (and my husband's) for years now.
When I moved to NY I left my hair stylist of over a decade and it was tough to find someone that I could trust... until I found Bobby.
He listens to what I want, makes suggestions as needed and always leaves me feeling great. And the cut always grows out great.

Bobby is the ONLY stylist I TRUST to color my hair. He is an expert at creating beautifully natural color with the look of a youthful sheen. Even when my color begins to grow out, there is never any harsh line of colored to natural hair. My hair has never looked better!

Bobby is the best!
I've been seeing Bobby since 2001. His color is vibrant and fun (and organic! No itchy scalps or nasty fumes) and his cuts even better, they grow out beautifully. I have very fine, very straight hair and never thought my hair could look so good! Plus he's great fun to hang out with.
I moved to California in 2008 and miss him terribly. Any chance I get I'm in his salon chair...whichever salon it might be ;) He'll be coming out this May to do my hair for my wedding, that's how talented this man is!
