Yuksel is an absolute expert when it comes to hair extensions—he applied K-Tip extensions flawlessly and in a reasonable amount of time, without compromising on quality. Yuksel is a true professional and an artist when it comes to hair! I recently had a complete hair transformation with blonde highlights, a haircut, an Olaplex treatment, and hair extensions, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I have been to many hair dressers and have not been able to find anyplace that is good and knows their job. Finally- I am so happy to have found the best one- Sahin Yuksel hair salon! I was amazed at the quality of my hair, haircut and highlights he did. I will 100% be coming back and super happy with my results! The owner has any bad reviews removed and replaced with fake reviews - beware!
A few weeks ago this salon scammed me out of over $1000. I posted the picture of my hair after and the owner had the review taken down and replaced with a new fake review giving himself 5 stars. The owner of the salon is a fraud.
EDIT: the owner responded and said that this ws due to "maintenance and wear" but this picture is taken 3 days after I got it done, and I have the receipts to prove it. I've also included a picture of the highlights he did for me that I had to have corrected at another salon. the highlights were brassy and orange and uneven. beware!

Yuksel is fantastic! He is an expert at all things hair and I trust him with all my haircare needs, including color, cut and styling. One of the best in the industry. He’s also extremely personable and always willing to put the client first. Five stars all around!

WOW! I love how my hair turned out!! I get my roots touched up every 2 months or so, and this was my best experience ever. Yuksel is awesome, and I highly recommend him! Don’t go anywhere else in NYC 🎉🎉

Don't forget that the owner of this salon does awesome haircuts for men. I don't understand why he doesn't also advertise for men. Maybe he's too busy with his female clientele? Anyway, my husband came out looking like a Hollywood star instead of looking like a little boy or looking like a military draftee! You must take your husband or boyfriend to this shop instead of the local barber shops; they all can't cut hair or they all cut it the same way! I highly recommend Yuksel.

UNBELIEVABLE. From the moment i spoke to him on the phone i instantly felt his sweet caring energy. Flash forward to getting my hair done. Probably the BEST anyone has ever done my hair before. I am so grateful for Yuksel and his incredible artistic talent. He made me feel so beautiful and somehow managed to correct the bad jobs done to my hair from the past and (brassy tones/ orange in the roots- he made look perfect and blonde) i truly left feeling so beautiful. I happened to be in area and had some time to spend, so I called salons near me to see if any of them could take walk-in for coloring. I was lucky that the owner of salon- Yuksel had time and took me as walk-in without waiting. He walked me through coloring options and worked with my budget- I had a hard budget I wanted to keep, and he worked with me on it, which I appreciate highly! Nothing is more upsetting than spending more than what you expected in hair salon and it happened all the time with long hair (my hair is to my waistline), so I appreciate his honesty and being transparent about the cost upfront.
The hair came out beautiful :) exactly what I wanted- natural sun kissed/lighter looking balayage!!
I'm so glad I walked in to this salon, and will definitely come back! Highly recommended!

Even though this is NYC with so many choices, it's difficult to find the right hair artist who will listen to you and deliver on their word when styling your hair. Yuksel is amazing- he was able to transform my tired hair into a cute haircut- including correcting the hair color and making it shine with volume in a classy and flattering way. I trusted him to go short- I haven't done that in YEARS. I wish I had found him earlier all these years- I would definitely recommend him. My husband, friends and family love the cut- says it looks fresh and makes me look younger :) If I'm back in NYC, I will come back to him.

Yuksel made time for me early as soon as his salon opened, and patiently listened to what style I wanted while providing his own advice. The cut was quick and he is a great listener with funny stories. Ended up with a slightly different style than I first imagined but I like it even more! Highly recommend

Yuksel is a godsend. My hair has never looked as beautiful as it does now. He is a blonde expert and understands how to PROPERLY lighten. He is amazing at color correction and a true artist.
While he is a busy stylist with a large clientele, he will make time to accommodate you in a pinch. I have texted him last minute when needed and he will make time for you.
Finally, he is an incredibly kind, professional, and talented stylist. I am so grateful to have found him!
