Overall the barbershop is clean, organized, and aesthetic. The staff is very professional and all talented. Each barber contributes such a good vibe to the shop. I have never had issues with clients being loud or rude. The barbers have always conducted themselves as professionals. 10/10

Who cuts hair like that, my boyfriend came in asking for 2 inches off and the barber cut off so much after the hair cut he joked saying oh yeah man I cut off 3 inches. WTF why would you do that??? What kind of barbershop change +$50 for a haircut and then completely doesn't listen to the customer and do whatever they want. Super disrespectful and no training whatsoever. I have never seen him this upset. Never coming back and warning I wouldn't come here take ur money somewhere else.

This is probably the worst barbershop I’ve ever been to in my life. This is my neck after a beard trim and this is after me telling him he needs to do the neck. I don’t know where the hell these guys get their training. Had to go to Walgreens and do it myself before an event I had in less than 30 minutes. Very inconvenient and burdened me excessively and wasted my money. Would never come here.

If your in need of a haircut, he is the guy to go to! He keeps it professional and upbeat. Cool conservator, I had lots of life lessons learned here. Not only I come out with good haircut but more knowledgable, motivated and positive. Basically he is someone you can absolutely trust to make your hair looking right! In town from out of state for a conference and special occasion. I got a fade done with Chang. He gave me exactly what I asked for and more. Best clipper cut/ blend into my curly hair out of all my 4 years going to different barber shops in my hometown. This guy is amazing!!

Had a booking with someone but asked to come earlier, so they set me up with the barber who didn’t have any bookings at that time…big mistake…
One of the worst haircuts I’ve gotten. Totally uneven and he wasn’t asking for feedback either.
Appreciated the service to get me in earlier, but buyer beware.

I recently had the pleasure of getting a haircut from Spencer, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've had at a barber. Spencer was incredibly personable and made me feel comfortable from the moment I sat in the chair. He was attentive and really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. I requested a simple fade with some bits off the top. I'd Recommend this shop for anyone who'd like a simple and pleasant experience at a good price for the care. I specifically recommend Taylor and The conversation I had with him while getting the cut was wonderful and relaxing. It's nice seeing all the barber take good care of their tools and keeping Hygienic practices at a very high standard. I would recommend this to anyone finding a new barber and a crazy good experience for their next big time glow up

Old Mission barber shop RULES. From the minute they opened the space you could tell this was a great place to be. The space is really nice, you know that they are using top quality products. Everyone in the shop is incredibly friendly and there is a camaraderie you notice when you walk in.
The shop is always spotless, they take cleanliness seriously. I knew once restrictions lifted the shop was going to be very careful with safety precautions and I was not wrong. Really appreciate the thought they put into everything. I look forward to my appointment every month and even pop into say hello when im in the neighborhood!

I'm shook I haven't left a review for Old Mission Barbershop yet! This is by far the greatest barbershop in all of SF. That is the hill I die one, no way to argue around it.
What makes it great? High quality products, friendly faces everywhere, really cool interior, and a damn good haircut. There is also a parking garage ~half block away on 21st between mission and valencia, street parking is also not too difficult to find.
I've been getting my haircut by Ben for ~8 years and cannot recommend him enough. Absolute pro and master of his craft, along with being a hell of a guy. You know you're going to get a great haircut and talk about anything and everything when you go to see him. When I go in I know I'm a friend first, client second. Cannot recommend him enough

Best barber shop in the city. Rather than getting junior barbers who don't really don't know what is what - they rent out chairs to the best of the best. Barbers running their own business, the old school way. Omar is just fantastic. The space is comfortable, authentic and in a great location. You will never go anywhere else. I've been going to Omar for years and happy to see him step out on his own and get his own place. A truly local business with a local awesome dude.

Robert has been my barber for several years and I will not get a haircut by anyone else now. Far and away the best cut I've ever had and really appreciate the level of detail he puts into his work. I can truly notice how much care and effort he puts into the cut and making sure the cut meets his standards and that I am satisfied as a customer. Cannot recommend Robert enough!
