Best barber I’ve found in the city for Asian men’s hair - he’s permed and cut my hair for a while now and I have nothing but positive things to say. I drive 30+ minutes each way to come here!
Efficient but consistent as others have said, and has a good eye and recommendations if you’re considering a new look.

long time customer at the salon. I started with Joanne and when she retired, I had Zee cut my hair. Today I thought I would try the new guy Star. He continues the excellence provided by Zee and Joanne, with attention to detail resulting in a great cut.

This is my second or third time coming to Z Touch Salon and I'm never disappointed! I highly recommend Star, his attention to detail is great & he is very nice! I highly recommend this salon for women's cuts.

Walking in, you are welcomed in. The place is very clean and spot-free. I really like the interior design!
I get my cuts with Star. He's very friendly and excellent with his craft! When he cuts my hair, it's very detailed ensuring you leave with the hairstyle you want! I'm satisfied every-time I get my haircut from Star!

Zhi Lan (also known as Z) is a fantastic stylist who deserves all the props people give him in his reviews.
His salon is welcoming and cute. He wants to make sure that you know how to take care of your hair after you leave so he will give you tips and tricks to follow. For instance, I got a full balayage today on virgin hair and he mentioned making sure to tie my hair up loosely afterwards so as not to cause any breakage to the newly dyed hair.
He helped my husband and I navigate the various hair dyes we could choose for my balayage and it turned out wonderfully! Thank you so much, Zhi! We love the results.

I really had a good experience at Z salon with Star today. (Hope, I got your name right) He dyed my hair very patiently , and I can feel how careful and attentive he worked with my hair. The point is he understood all my needs, and gave me what I wanted with my hair style. So glad. Highly recommend.

I've been going to Z Touch Salon for the last 2-3 years and I've had a great experience every time. I typically go with Z for a men's perm and haircut and have been happy with the result every time. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to get their hair touched up

I HATE getting my hair cut, but this was a great experience! My hair looks and feels so much better, I was in and out within an hour (I have long hair), and for a big city the price isn’t too bad (half as much as other salons with similar ratings). This might be the place that finally inspires me to get regular trims. Looking forward to coming back!

I had my hair cut by Star. I've never had anyone actually measure carefully how to cut my hair before. Instead of taking shortcuts, Star spared no effort to use the proper tools that goes with each technique. You can tell that he is really dedicated to his craft.
I am sure we can all say the same for Zee too! It was interesting to hear them debate a little about hairdryers! Both of them seem to want to keep updating their skills.
Zee and Star are also extremely friendly! It feels very nice in there! The place is also very clean!

I'be been a long time customer of ZTouch Salon. They always give me exactly what I ask for & have incredible customer service. I made the mistake of going to a different salon last time and Z fixed the bad cut they gave me! So grateful!! Will be coming again soon.

Came across Z Touch Salon and was provided excellent service from the beginning to the end of my appointment. Prior to being serviced by Z, my hair needed work due to previous damage. He took the time to consult with me before my appointment to ensure I get my hair cut, colored and treated the way I desire. I am pleased with how my hair turned out, it looks much more healthier and elegant. Z also took the time and educated me on my hair type by giving me recommendations on how to maintain my hair after my salon visit. He's very knowledgeable and knows how to perfect his craft to ensure that his clients are happy with the results. Beyond happy with my results!

I've been with this man (Z) thru 3 relationships and the combover to longer hairstyle fad, and he always comes thru with a great cut. I live in Denver temporarily for grad school and rerouted a flight just to see him
Clean hair studio, always updating equipment (new mirrors with led buttons which I assume perform magic or increase my attractiveness), and the baller gold scissors. The day this man no longer cuts hair will be a sad day

I got a referral from my daughter. I’m so grateful after my hair done with Zhi yesterday. My hair has never got the right orange color that I dreamed to have for years and after the haircut, my hair looks so full and stylish. Besides the technical and creative skills, Zhi is also an honest & charming person.
All of the above will make me comfortable to come back regularly.

Been going to this place for years now and I love that Zee is super efficient. As a busy mom, I don't have time to stay at the salon for hours to get my hair colored but Zee gets it done in 2 hours or less! I'm always happy with the service.

It was my first time experience going to Z Touch Salon. I indeed had high hope base on all the positive reviews on Yelp. It's unfortunate that I was one of the few not too pleasant case.
Please don't get me wrong, both Zee and his assistant were nice. The salon was organized and clean. There was a cut dog in the back too. It was the hair cut that led to the disappointment.
My appointment started shortly after 5PM. I had my hair washed first, very detailed wash. By 5:27PM, my haircut was done. Therefore, it only took him about 15 minutes max for my hair cut. Zee cut my hair while they were wet. There was no initiative to do "check and balance" after the blow-drying was done. Cutting wet hair and dry hair make difference. This has been the essential steps in higher end salon or the one that I have been to for years. At the moment, I told myself not to judge so fast therefore, I didn't say much at the salon.
He charged $80 for "long hair" when all he did was to chop off the split and dry ends. $105 including tips for this haircut is not worthy.
Upon washing and blow drying my hair the next day at home, I found uneven choppy hair. Two sides of my hair had different length. I have thought of connecting with Zee about this but decided not to as I don't want my hair to be further messed up.
It's great that there are so many positive reviews for this business. Thougb I had the consideration of having color service there; I am afraid tht this is not the salon for me.
Update as of 09/03/2024 -- Zee reached out to me about the experience. He offered the option to make it right by going back to his salon. I shared my fear of further damage since the difference on both side is about a inch to a inch and a half if not two. Zee opted in to refund the $80 service fee and expressed the wish for me to remove the review. I kept my promise to provide an update but not removing it to keep the authenticity.
