This is my first ever review so bare with me as I try to figure this out. I recently went to a party and got so many compliments on my haircut. Everyone was asking where I got it done. After seeing how many people noticed and liked my haircut I had to come here and give some credit to Deedee. Before going to Stone + Rye I had a haircut by a very unprofessional salon. My hair was uneven, dead and weightless. My hair is curly and I wanted to grow it out. Deedee gave me a face framing cut and some slight layers/volume. I will definitely go back for anything else I would want done on my hair. Thank you Deedee for making me pop out in a crowd and feel amazing.
Very professional and welcoming environment. Very accommodating to personal privacy. You feel safe and respected.

Obligatory I don’t usually write reviews-
However, I am blown away by Margaret’s hair cut. I have never received a haircut the way I had envisioned before, I’m truly ecstatic! I had a reference picture and she was very clear if it was attainable or not at the get go. Very professional yet personal, and the blow out was hands down the best I’ve ever received. I don't typically use Yelp/write reviews these days, however I have to praise Margaret for the incredible haircut I received yesterday!!

Dee Dee has been cutting my hair for seven years now. On our 'first date' she chopped my hair (at my request), and that is when our love story began. She always has new ideas for how to freshen up my look - we have done platinum, curly, straight, short, really short, long, and everything in between.
Dee Dee is talented at what she does and she is also an amazing human. The bottom line is that you will walk out of her salon feeling great!!

I've been living in San Francisco for over a decade now and can confidently say that Dee Dee and Sam are the best stylists the Bay Area has to offer. They are professional, extremely talented, and always good for a laugh! Not to mention the head massage during a conditioning is heaven. I always leave an appointment looking and feeling like my best self!
